PS4 Trailer For Rise of the Tomb Raider Released

Rise of the Tomb Raider was only available for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC for over a year. Now, PS4 players can rejoice as female gaming icon Lara Craft comes back next week to the PS4 for the first time since Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. Developers Crystal Dynamics teased PS4 users a bit by releasing several screenshots and even the official trailer for the game.

Here you can see Lara standing outside of a mountain about to fire at a bear. You can also see Lara walk into one of the tombs as well some shots of what are inside those tombs.

The trailer starts out with Lara being chased by a helicopter. A group of soldiers head toward a coffin, before Craft jumps out of the coffin, gun toward the commander. The trailer says you “explore a vast, hostile world,” “discover deadly tombs,” and “engage in guerrilla combat.” Game modes include “Blood Ties” in which you attempts to regain Craft’s legacy, defeat “Lara’s Nightmare,” and survive “Co-op Endurance.” One game mode appears to be a zombie horde like mode called “Cold Darkness” and you can fight bosses like Baba Yaga, which appears to be some sort of large, robotic creature.

Just like any Tomb Raider game, the trailer shows a near infinite amount of situations where you have to make long jumps and climb tall mountains. You see Craft using many kinds of weapons, including multiple styles of guns and arrows.

When Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration releases for PS4 on October 11, players can get 100,000 free in-game credit on any system as long as you play it between October 11 and October 18. You will also receive all of the DLC, outfits and weapons, including retro Lara Craft for the very first Tomb Raider that have been released for the game. Players who own the game for either the Xbox One or PC can also download the 20 Year Celebration content if they own the season pass.

I'm a big Pokémon fan, so I'l spend a lot of my time playing that. Other than that, I love sports, particularly the Charlotte Hornets and the Carolina Panthers. No matter how bad the team is, I will always rep them.
