PS4 is $50 off (plus other Pre-Black Friday deals)

Black Friday is a controversial holiday tradition that began in department stores but appears (like many industries today, RIP Borders) to be migrating to online shopping. Behemoth websites such as Amazon and Ebay keep the spirit of the season (and capitalism!) not just alive and well, but also convenient. This way we don’t have to guiltily avoid the cashier’s glares while they ring up our bundle of discounted games. Popular outdoors department store, REI, was applauded for their decision to keep their doors closed on Black Friday, choosing instead to give their hardworking employees time to be with their families on Thanksgiving weekend.

Have no fear, however, you can still receive awesome deals for consoles, accessories, and big titles, all while avoiding long lines, pushy customers, and the troubling quandary that maybe, just maybe, we are a part of the problem. Okay, too deep. Let’s get down to the deals!

The good people over in Xbox headquarters are offering an awesome Xbox One Bundle: a 12 Month Xbox Live Gold Membership. This extends to the Xbox One AND the Xbox 360. This Membership enables you to view HD movies and shows, the ability to use your phone/tablet as a second screen, and the ridiculously fun voice control utilization of the kinect–use your voice to search movies, games, shows as a remote control! Further sales on Xbox games and accessories will be made available the closer we get to Black Friday.

Guitar Hero Live, not even a month on the shelves, is already $30 off for ALL consoles. Guitar controller is included!!

Perhaps the most exciting news: Sony is offering $50 OFF the PS4. Storage is at a kick ass 500GB, and bundled alongside Unchartered: The Nathan Drake Collection, the package is selling at $299.99. The sale will continue for only 3 more days, and there is a limited quantity, so buy fast before they run out!
