Ubisoft announced a few days ago that the open world adventure through the North Atlantic, as Assassin Hunter Shay Patrick Cormac, will be making PC waves on Tuesday, March 10.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue takes place in 18th century North America, between the events of Assassin’s Creed IV and Assassin’s Creed III. It is also said to be the darkest chapter of the franchise because Shay undergoes a transformation of opposing codes, from Assassin to Templar, to become the assassin hunter.
This installment made its debut on Xbox 360 and PS3 last fall in conjunction with the release of Assassin’s Creed Unity for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. And in just a few weeks, Assassin’s Creed Rogue will be available for PC gamers; however, there is still no word from Ubisoft about any intentions for a new-gen port. Although, it was announced that the PC version of Rogue boasts capabilities for a uniquely immersive, “infinite screen” experience that uses eye-tracking technology to link the player’s view to Shay’s – now that’s pretty cool.
