PQube Games has announced two release dates expected for Root Letter: Last Answer. The popular visual novel, which originally released back in 2017, will see its launch later this year. The team also revealed a special Day One Edition gift, which will be available for pre-orders of the game, as well as purchases made on launch day.

Root Letter: Last Answer is an interactive visual novel about the 15-year old mystery surrounding your old pen friend, Aya Fumino. An alleged confession, revealed in her last letter, has resurfaced. It is up to you to retrace the events leading to her disappearance. Use the letters you wrote to one another to uncover clues and track down her old friends, who have grown into young adults now. Will reliving painful memories be overwhelming for them? What do they know? Have they been hiding something for the last 15 years?

The game now features a “live-action mode” which can be activated on the title screen. The mode can be activated and deactivated at any time, so feel test it out. Watch everything come to life as the animated characters and settings are swapped with life-like doubles. Enhance your gaming experience and feel even closer to the story.

Miki Allen: Hello! My name is Miki (pronounced just like Mickey Mouse) and I am a young writer working towards a career in film and video game writing. I have recently discovered that I DO NOT want to be a doctor, and have been studying Creative Writing and World Cinema. I love storytelling more than any subject, and would probably watch, read, or play anything given to me just to know how it ends.
