Independent game development company Spider has revealed their newest game Technomancer, which is set to be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You may know Spider from their other games like Bound by Flame or Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper. Not a lot of information has been released on the game so far, but don’t worry, we have some information for you.
Technomancer puts you playing as the Technomancer in this Mars post apocalyptic world, during something called “the War of Water.” Don’t worry though, you are a “combat proficient warrior,” and you will be bringing magical like abilities with you to the battlefield. You can choose from four different skill trees and each one of those four will fall under one of three different fighting styles. Also to help your fighting, you are able to craft new weapons and armor in game to change up your appearance to your liking.
Speaking of fighting, it sounds like you may not be going at this alone either, as during your adventures you will be picking some help along the way. You may have new help by your side but, everyone has secrets and as you play you may be able to reveal those secrets. Also when you are doing missions, some mission can have up to five different endings.
Here is Spiders official description of the game “On the run from the Secret Police and confronted by the harsh realities of the Red Planet, you must undertake a quest that takes you through tribal communities, cities lost under the ice, and dystopian shanties sprawled across Mars’ dusty embrace.”
