Pokemon TCG Live Coming Soon To Mobile Devices, Tablets, PCs, & Macs

The Pokemon Company revealed a new way to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Pokemon TCG Live is a new free-to-play app that lets trainers enjoy all of the aspects of the Pokemon TCG – building decks, developing strategies, and battling – in an updated digital format. With the arrival of Pokemon TCG Live, Pokemon TCG Online is being retired. Download access will be removed from the App Store, Google Play, and the Pokemon website prior to the launch of Pokemon TCG Live. Existing Pokemon TCG Online players can transfer their account and game data to Pokemon TCG Live when it launches. Pokemon TCG Live will be available soon on the App Store, Google Play, PCs, Macs, and Tablets.

Pokemon TCG Live is built for everyone to enjoy. New players just getting started in the Pokemon TCG will find it easy to learn while experienced players can discover fresh challenges to improve and test their skills. Pokemon TCG Live will be updated periodically with new content and features following the initial launch to continuously offer exciting new challenges and experiences for players. In Pokemon TCG Live, players can battle, build decks, and can personalize their experience with customizable avatars and accessories.

Pokemon TCG cards from Sword & Shield, Sun & Moon: Lost Thunder through Sun & Moon-Cosmic Eclipse will be transferrable and playable in Pokemon TCG Live at launch. Cards from earlier in the Sun & Moon series, the XY series, and the Black & White series will be available to transfer and play in the game but will not be ready to do so at launch.  These cards will be transferrable and playable with future Pokemon TCG Live game updates. Players will be able to transfer up to four copies of a unique Pokemon TCG card, one copy of ACE SPEC and Prism Star cards, and 59 copies of a basic Energy card. Additional copies beyond these limits will not be transferred.
