Pokémon Sword And Shield Isle Of Armor Release Trailer Reveals A Bit More Than The Release Date

Pokémon fans looking forward to the first part of the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass will be elated to hear that the release date for the Isle Of Armor DLC has been announced. Today, a new trailer was released revealing not only the release date for the Isle Of Armor but also some of the scenery we can expect to find on the island. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of Galarian Slowpoke’s evolution, as well as some scenery and scenes coming with the Crown Tundra DLC.

In the trailer, players can see a number of different and scenic locations, including a large open field right outside a dojo, a desert region barraged by a sandstorm, as well as a beach area. The trailer also shows off G-Max Venasaur and G-Max Blastoise in action for just a tiny bit. Aside from that, it shows some minor version differences, such as with the Tower Of Two Fists. While it is unclear which version has which, from the trailer, it appears as though players in one game will find the Tower Of Two Fists at the end of a sandy trail on the beach, and players in another will find it at the top of a mountain.

Although the trailer largely focused on the Isle Of Armor DLC, it also gives players a glimpse at the Crown Tundra DLC. Players will be able to see hauntingly beautiful snowy forests, beautiful fields of green, and a strange multi-colored tree. Not only that, but players will be able to visit three distinct temples dedicated to Regice, Registeel, and Regirock. The trailer also gives players a vision of the temple dedicated to the two new Regis, Regieleki, and Regidrago. Finally, the trailer shows a scene of the Galarian forms of Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos fighting each other for an unknown reason. Not much has been revealed regarding what role the Regis  or the three legendary birds will play in the Frozen Tundra DLC, however, it is likely that more information will be revealed at a later date.

At the end of the trailer, the release date for the Isle Of Armor DLC is revealed, the release date is June 17, 2020.
