Player-connecting Platform TEAMS Announced as Winner of The Clutch Digital

TEAMS.gg is website that helps Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players find teammates that match their play style and aspirations. The platform has just been announced as the winner of  The Clutch Digital (TCD), hosted by Esports Insider (ESI). The event featured four esports startups who had the opportunity to pitch their concept to an esteemed panel and answer questions. In their winner announcement, ESI noted the high volume of applications they received to be apart of the event. In the end, it was dwindled down to four companies, Gamerpro, Puntt, Fanfunder, and the winner, TEAMS.

Dave Martin, Director of Esports Global and TCD judge commented on the decision, saying “…we felt TEAMS had a scalable offer that brought a potential real return to publishers which enables individuals to stay within the titles and find new friend groups. The growth opportunity is phenomenal.” Despite not be crowned winners, the other startups were afforded the opportunity of being apart of the ESI Digital Summit, the largest online esports conference to date. They were also able to raise awareness about their business, make valuable connections, and possibly find investors. Sam Cooke, Managing Director and Co-founder of ESI, shared similar sentiments about the event, saying “This is what The Clutch Digital is all about, allowing promising startups to present their vision and product to people of all positions in the industry – especially investors and those who’ve been successful in business…” In the end, all five judges decided unanimously that TEAMS offered exceptional value to the esports community.
