The CEO and President of The Pokémon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara hosted a special video presentation for Pokémon Presents. Ishihara discusses the many upcoming projects fans can expect to experience soon. Here is all the content that was in this years Pokémon Day Pokémon Presents 2023.

This years Pokémon World Championships will be in Yokohama Japan. Chris Brown, Director of Global Esports & events Producer from The Pokémon Company International informs fans of what to expect this year. The 2023 World Championships will battle it out in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Pokémon TCG, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE from August 11 – 13.
Nendo, Creatures and The Pokémon Company have teamed up to create a premium Pokémon TCG set that “will last a lifetime” called Pokémon Classic. Fans who attend the World Championships will be able to get a sneak peek at the premium set.
Minyoung Kim, Vice President of Content tells us about the new animation coming to Netflix, Pokémon Concierge. This series will bring a new story and expand the Pokémon universe with its stop-motion animation. Partnered with Dwarf studies, the series is set at the Pokémon Resort. The story will be about the concierge Haru and the Pokémon who visit as hotel guests.
Many Pokémon games will be receiving updates. The first is Pokémon UNITE. Trainers can expect to see the legendary Pokémon Zacian as it joins in on the battles. It’s unite move is Sovereign Sword unleashes a powerful sword attack that can also charge its sword with Aeos energy to make the attack stronger. There will be event missions to complete for special rewards including Zacian’s license. There will also be a boss rush event for trainers to take on in the event. A gift code will be given out to players so they can receive a gold Zacian boost emblem which will be helpful in battle. The gift code is POKEMONDAY and is redeemable until Sunday, March 26, 2023.
There will be added content to Pokémon Café Remix. Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly have come to bring new dishes to the menu. Trainers will be able to chose one of the three to join your staff. In celebration of Pokémon Day, players can login to receive a Greninja Great Chef outfit. Players can also deliver again to past five-star chefs as well as have 11x express delivery at no cost. These events will go on until March 17, 2023. Pokémon Café Remix is free to play on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
Pokémon Masters EX is celebrating 3.5 Years. In the update, players will meet the Galar region’s Neo Champions, Hop, Bede, Marnie and Leon. Players who login the game can scout up to 100 sync pairs, 10-Pair Ticket Scout at no cost, every day. As a bonus, fans who login the game starting today will receive a 3,000 gem present. Pokémon Masters EX is free to play on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
Pokémon Sleep is designed to help people get up in the morning. The game takes place on a small island, where Snorlax and Professor Neroli live. All gamers have to do to play this game is sleep. As people leave their phones next to them, their phones will measure their sleep, record and analyze it. When its done, it is categorized into three types, Dozing, Snoozing and Slumbering. Pokémon that sleep the same as the user will appear around Snorlax. Pokémon Sleep is coming summer 2023.
Pokémon GO will receive a new support device called Pokémon GO Plus+. It will be paired with Pokémon Sleep. Trainers will simply press the button on the device as they go to bed and once more when they wake up. A Pikachu resides in the Plus+ device that can sing lullabies, grow friendly as you sleep and unlocks alarm sounds. The device also lets you spin poke stops without pulling out your phone as well as throw standard pokéballs at Pokémon. Pokémon Go Plus+ will be available to purchase on July 14, 2023.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will be receiving two updates. Two new parallel Pokémon have been added to the Tera Raid Battle event, Walking Wake and Iron leaves. Second, a DLC titled, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will be released in two parts. The Teal Mask scheduled to be released Fall 2023 and The Indigo Disk which will be released Winter 2023. The Teal Mask takes trainers to the land of Kitakami as part of a school trip while in part 2, trainers will be studying as an exchange student at blueberry Academy. In this expansion, there will be Pokémon available that weren’t in Paldea as well as encountering the new legendary Pokémon, Ogerpon and Terapagos.
