Since its release, Pokémon Go has forced its players to actually get up and go outside to find those adorable creatures. In an effort to catch them all players must walk around, thankfully players from around the world have combined to create a few wonderful Pokémon tracking apps. According to Polygon this helps players to know what is near and where.
Heading into week two there is already a plethora of browser tools, apps and mobile maps that are completely free. Most are a work of fan collaboration. Poké Radar is an iOS app that has already climbed to number two on the App store chart. Take a look at how the radar works in a screenshot below.
This amazing tool includes monuments all major metropolitan areas and will continue to expand it coverage as more and more people are playing and saying where they found what. This will allow all Pokémon Go players to define their search by exactly what they want.
If you don’t want another app to take space on your phone, there are other ways to get a map of local Pokémon. Pokévison is a web browser tool and gives a similar helping hand as the radar app. The browser also features a timer in which players are able to see just how long a Pokémon is in an area.
With Pokémon Go growing at an unprecedented rate, the community is banning together to give players the tools they need to catch ‘em all. With so many people playing it seems these browser tools and apps will take up a considerable amount of data on our phones.
