Pokémon Café Mix Coming to Nintendo Switch and Mobile

A couple of days ago, the Pokémon Company have made numerous announcements during their Pokémon Presents broadcast. They shared that the new Pokémon Snap game where it will be played on the Switch. But besides from that announcement, Pokémon Company shared that Pokémon Café Mix is coming out on Nintendo Switch and Mobile games.

The name of the game, Pokémon Café Mix will have players running a Pokémon Café that they will be serving drinks and dishes to Pocket Monsters that will be coming to their café shop. On the Pokémon website, they stated that, “You’re the owner of a café for Pokémon in this fun and casual game. To solve puzzles, you must link matching Pokémon icons to cleat them from the screen. Each puzzle has its own objective, so think carefully before making your move.”

In the Pokémon Café Mix, players can earn or purchase Golden Acorns which are in-game currency and redeem players to regain hearts, continue puzzles, and get helpful items. As players complete the puzzle to build a world-class café, they will face numerous obstacles like sugar cubes, dollops of whipped cream, and tomatoes. Players will need to use their puzzle skills to clear them and be able to employ the help of Pokémon Café Skills. With the Café skills, each of the Pokémon staff members will have a certain specialty. With that players will have to match the Pokémon specialty with the dish and drink players made for the bonuses in puzzles.

On the Nintendo Switch website, they go into detail on what fans should look forward to when it comes to this exciting game. “In addition to recruiting more Pokémon staff members and growing your collection of menu items, the café itself will expand as you play! Getting new tools or having areas added to your café may even draw in more customers. All the action in Pokémon Café Mix unfolds in a playful art style that brings out the cuteness of your Pokémon pals and patrons. It’s time to become a café owner, solve puzzles, and bring joy to Pokémon patrons!”

With this new transition to the game, fans that enjoy playing Pokémon Café Mix will definitely be excited about this move to Mobile and Nintendo Switch. Pokémon Café Mix will be available on Nintendo eShop, Apple App Store, and Google Play on June 23rd.
