Indie developer and publisher PM Studios, the company behind Horizon Chase Turbo and My Time at Sandrock, held a special showcase at IGN Live today, revealing new information and first looks at upcoming games. Taking the main stage at the show, here are all the big announcements from the PM Studios Showcase:
Chromagun 2: Dye Hard revealed a new gameplay trailer, showing off the first-person puzzler’s colorful mechanics. Fans of the Portal series will be sure to love the scientific-testing setting, and will be able to check it out next year.
A new Early Access Reveal trailer for Dragon is Dead was up next, showing off the upcoming sidescroller roguelike with new gameplay and a look at some of the items players will be able to wield. The developers behind the game, Team Suneat, have released the game into early access on Steam today.
Roshpit Champions II, a standalone game from the creators of the hit DOTA 2 custom game, is bringing MOBA-style combat into an RPG setting, allowing players to explore over 20 levels with multiple bosses and new enemies. The trailer for the game was followed by a message from the developers, letting players see a look at footage of the game’s pee-alpha and confirming multiple multiplayer modes when the game releases.
A new trailer for Pipistrello and The Cursed Yo-Yo presented a stylish cartoon cinematic, along with a look at the Gameboy-inspired graphics and gameplay. Quick and flashy yo-yo-based combat can be expected in droves when the game arrives on Steam, where you can wishlist it now.
Apocalyptic co-op shooter Skopje ‘83 wrapped up the presentation with an explosive new trailer, showing off cool cell-shaded graphics and a look at some chaotic gameplay footage. New weapons, an upgradable bus, big bosses, and more are coming when the game drops in Late 2024. The game will be featured in Steam’s Next Fest in the next few days, with a playable demo coming soon.
