Today, PlayStation showed off many of the games that fans have been looking forward to over the past few years, along with announcing some new projects that already have many excited.
The first trailer introduces viewers to the alchemist Kena in the 3D action-adventure game, Kena, Scars of Kosmora, the sequel to Kena, Bridge of Spirits. Throughout the trailer, she is seen battling foes using her staff and magic on the way to a forgotten temple with the help of her animal companion. In a short developer update following the trailer, it is revealed that the game will expand on everything from the original, promising a larger world and boss battles. The game is set to release for PS5 in 2026.
Next, the presentation showed off Ghost of Yotei Legends, a free DLC coming to add a new adventure to the base game where players will face off against the Spider, Oni, Kitsune, and Snake. It is set to release on March 10th.
A short accolade trailer later plays for Death Stranding 2 On the Beach, which is now coming to PC on March 19th. The game was very well received last year, with the new platform offering the opportunity to experience it firsthand.
Game Director Mike Booth from Bad Robot Games takes fans on a tour through 4 Loop, a multiplayer combat sandbox. Players are offered a probability map which offer different missions with different risks and rewards. After voting on where to go, players can jump straight into the action and upgrade their gear as they acquire more resources. The game is set to come to PS5.
Fans also get a short heartfelt moment in Pragmata, where Hugh shares some of his childhood and experiences with Diana, his android companion as they explore the ruins of civilization. The trailer ends with a chase sequence involving strange human-like robots. It is set to release on April 24th.
A few more scenes of Resident Evil Requiem are shown, showing off the dynamic between Leon, Grace, and the new villain. The ominous reveal as Leon opens the doors at the end gives way to the release date of February 27th, with preorders available now.
Next, a few games coming to PS5 are highlighted, including Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered with new skins and unreleased content.
Another of the games shown off was Brigandine Abyss, which is a tactical RPG and the latest installment in the Brigandine series.
The Dead or Alive series receives an update from Yosuke Hayashi. Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is an improvement over the original game, including new costumes, returning DLC characters, and photo mode. In addition, a new Dead or Alive game is in development, shown off through an action-packed teaser trailer.
The next trailer shows off Control Resonant, a 3D action game coming to PS5. Players are led through a snippet of gameplay by creative director, Mikael Kasurinen. The main character, Dylan, has the ability to Shift, granting him the ability to control how gravity affects him. He also has access to a variety of melee attacks and abilities which he uses in an encounter with a massive flying monster. The game is set to release in 2026.
Crimson Moon is also coming in 2026, allowing players to control a half human, half angel warrior as they tear their way through legions of undead. The trailer is fast-paced and full of carnage, leaning into the mayhem of the game.
The trailer for Beast of Reincarnation reveals some of incredible parrying ability players will have access to even against massive beasts. The game’s impresive graphic and combat flow are also on display. It is coming August 4th, 2026.
More games are introduced in the time between. One of these is Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition. It is a digital museum complete with five separate ways to play the original game. It also features a restored playable prototype of the game for those curious to the character’s beginnings.
Mina the Hollower also gets a look. The pixel game by the developers of Shovel Knight follows the journey of a mouse through enemies and puzzles. The game is coming in Spring 2026.
In a story set before the events of the original game, Neva Prologue sees the introduction of Alba and her wolf cub, Neva, to one another. The game is centered around trust, offering new gameplay elements over the first game. It will launch February 19th, 2026.
A new stealth action from Shueisha Games and Acquire, Yakoh Shinobi Ops, will feature teams of ninja breaking into houses, stealing, and killing, all under the cover of night. The game is set to release in 2027 for PS5.
In the next game, Project Windless, players will control a massive bird warrior as they cleave their way through hordes of monsters and massive creatures. The story alludes to a twisted purification by the hands of the ominous villain speaking throughout the trailer.
Fans also get a look at the newest Lucasfilm game, Star Wars Galactic Racer, where players can live out the high-speed action and carnage present in the scenes from the Star Wars series while racing on entirely new locations. It is coming in 2026.
007 First Light shows the origin of the famous spy in an incredibly dangerous mission, filled with all the coldness and spy intrigue fans have come to expect from the character. It is set to launch on May 27th.
The next section of the presentation is dedicated to what Konami has been working on, starting with Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 2. The game features the final mission of Solid Snake, in the fourth game, along with Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker releasing August 7th.
Darwin’s Paradox is shown off next, a game that takes all the action and sneaking the Metal Gear series is known for and adds a comical twist the addition of an expressive octopus. The demo is available tomorrow.
For the 40th anniversary of the Castlevania series, fans got a look at Castlevania Belmont’s Curse, a new adventure featuring new characters as the last of the Belmonts is needed. It is coming 2026.
The next trailer for Silent Hill Townfall opens with an ominous phone call for a man named Simon. He is shown to be haunted by his past mistakes as hunted by a monstrous creature capable of tearing itself open. The game is coming in 2026.
The trailer for Rev.Noir begins with light raining down at the end of a failed journey. With a defiant cry up into the sky, the world resets, and the heroes begin again. The JPRG is said to be focused the heartfelt moments that define the genre.
Another upcoming project for Konami is John Wick, following the famous character of the same name. The opening action is deadly but focused, showing off the precise nature of John Wick’s movements. The game is available to wish list now.
A 3rd-person shooter game with a horrific theme, Marathon, was announced with an ominous trailer, splicing together reassurances from a computer and a man’s miserable confession. The game is set to have a server slam starting February 26th and launches March 5th.
A few new games were announced to be available for PlayStation Plus in the coming months, including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Tekken Dark Resurrection, Time Crisis, and Big Walk.
Fans got a new look at gameplay for the upcoming Saros, coming April 30th. Players will interact with the survivors of Echelon Four in the Passage, in order to grow stronger each time they are killed. Players are able to modify themselves and their enemies in order to balance out the difficulty in the way that best suits them. By using the alien device, players can begin the Eclipse, corrupting everything and making gameplay tougher all around while offering unique opportunities.
A trailer for Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls shows off various popular characters from the X-men team in a format very familiar to them, a fighting game. It even comes with unique lines for the characters, allowing them to interact with one another. The game releases August 6th 2026.
A remake of the incredibly popular God of War games is also in the works with God of War Trilogy. Featuring the original voice actor for Kratos, the remake will package all three original games.
The remake announcement coincides with the announcement of a new game, following Kratos as a spartan in a 2D action game titled God of War Sons of Sparta which will be available 2026.
