The Talos Principle 2 was officially revealed during the PlayStation Showcase 2023, nearly eight years after the original launched in 2014. Croteam’s long awaited sequel is set to launch later this year for both the PlayStation 5 and on PC through Steam. The story of the game takes place in a world devoid of humans, and instead filled with robots who have kept most of the culture alive. The Talos Principle 2 is a puzzle adventure where players must figure out different areas of the world in order to understand the “nature of the cosmos and the purpose of civilization.”
The player will also have to make different choices along the way, which will affect the endgame in various ways. The sequel will also have some brand new features such as gravity manipulation and mind transference, making the experience that much more intricate and unique. The Talos Principle 2 launches later this year.
