PlayStation has announced the dates and locations for their 2017 “Road to Greatness” tour, as they bring their big game-filled truck all over the U.S. for gaming events and new PlayStation exclusive experiences.
The PlayStation Truck is a travelling video game party vehicle, setting up large-scale video game experiences that are like “E3 comes to you”. It’ll be making the rounds again this year, visiting over 15 different cities at events like SunFest in Florida and Silicon Valley Comic Con in California.
For the folks who don’t see their city anywhere on the list, PlayStation has also announced the “My Road to Greatness” competition for this year, which anyone can enter to win a chance to bring the truck to their own hometown for a special event in their honor.
To enter the competition, users should upload an under-3-minute video of themselves re-enacting their favorite scene from an Uncharted game, or answering the question “What does Gran Turismo mean to you?”. The winner whose video is chosen will win a “a once-in-a-lifetime chance to go hands-on with unreleased games and meet developers”, as well as an gaming event for their hometown themed around either Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, or Gran Turismo Sport, depending on which video prompt they chose.
