PlayStation Gives a Closer Look at the Characters and Storyline of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

A new trailer has been released for Marvel’s PS4 and PS5 Guardians of the Galaxy, along with a release date and an in-depth look into the storyline. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which will be available for all to enjoy on October 26th, 2021, takes place twelve years after the Galactic War when Star-lord assembles a team of space pirates to use as heroes-for-hire. The story kicks off when the enemy, The Universal Church of Truth, begins to threaten the safety of the entire galaxy. The team must embark on a journey to stop the Church from carrying out their evil plans and save the galaxy.

The team meets many fun new allies along the way such as Cosmo the adorable, telepathic dog, who has sworn to protect Knowwhere. In the trailer, he has a strong Russian accent and is said to be very powerful. Cosmo is likely going to become a favorite amongst fans. The team also meets Worldmind, a supercomputer embedded with all the knowledge of the Xander people, who is in charge of a huge militia called the Nova Corps.

Tied into the story is a feature that allows the player’s weapons to evolve throughout the timeline. The StarLord has tied the blasters to his DNA, so he can unlock new features for fighting, which players can use to their advantage.

This third-person action-adventure contains original characters as well as some familiar ones from the comics and movies. The game is single-player only and takes place from the perspective of Star-Lord, but the rest of the team is always close by and can be played in battle. There is also going to be an aspect of decision-making in the game. Players can choose how Star-Lord reacts to other characters during dialogue scenes in different ways that will create a unique relationship amongst the characters.
