Within the Spider-Man universe, we get to see Peter Parker live his day to day life as someone who is a crime-fighting superhero well-known as Spider-Man. Now fans of the popular game will get a chance to see a new hero rise to the occasion. PlayStation and Insomniac Games have announced that Spider-Man: Miles Morales game will be coming out later on this year. This will be a sequel to the 2018’s PlayStation 4 Spider-Man game which will be heading to PlayStation 5 console. This announcement came during the Sony PlayStation livestream event going on today. With the major announcement, they even released a teaser trailer to show exciting fans on what’s to come for this popular game.
Many people were introduced to Miles Morales from the Marvel’s Ultimate universe comics and award-winning animated film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. With the same fate as Peter Parker, Miles was bitten by a radioactive spider which was the cause of him obtaining Spider-Man abilities.
Even though Spider-Man: Miles Morales teaser trailer didn’t reveal too much information about the game, they did show some amazing abilities Miles was able to do in his Spidey suit. In the trailer, they showed that Miles obtains an electric venom blast and his ability to have stealth camouflaging. With many things to come fans expect to have many new features but in the trailer, you would notice some features like weather changing and daylight cycle that wasn’t in the original Spider-Man game. Another thing fans will notice in the trailer will be a song by Kid Cudi who helped with the soundtrack of the Into the Spider-Verse.
Fans will be excited to see the new Spider-Man: Miles Morales game come out and get a chance to play another iconic character within the Spider-verse. Spider-Man: Miles Morales will launch on the PlayStation 5 in the holidays of 2020.
