

Publisher Logoi Games and developer RedSaw Games Studio have released an ‘Early Access Release Date’ Trailer for Doloc Town. The title is a cozy, pixel-art farming simulator with RPG and adventure elements; Gematsu reports that the game will launch in Steam’s Early Access program on May 8.
Doloc Town is set within a mysterious post-apocalyptic wasteland, where nature has reclaimed the remnants of a lost world. You’ll assume the role of a farmer who’s just arrived in this sanctuary with your primary goal to grow in this land and to discover the secrets of the past. You’ll cultivate, explore the environment, engage with the community, and learn about the forgotten world.
RedSaw Games Studio producer Yao Fan said in a press release, shared on Gematsu that “The positive feedback from our demo has been incredible, and we’re excited to take the next step with Early Access,” and also “We can’t wait to build Doloc Town together with our community, and Early Access is just the beginning.”
In Doloc Town gameplay consists of farming, crafting and automation while exploring Rivervalley and The Wetland; Early access offers 20 hours of main story content and side quests. Doloc Town also features tool crafting, cooking and fishing. Weather systems are present in Acid Rains and Heat Waves coupled with farming systems where you’ll have to protect your tools. Doloc Town features a hand-drawn art style, residents will offer resources and side objectives as well.
As RedSaw Studios first independent and major project, they are aiming to deliver a true adventure for players. By blending elements of popular titles such as Stardew Valley, Fallout, and Terraria. RedSaw studios may have found themselves with a unique title all their own but ultimately, players will have to decide for themselves whether this new cozy adventure stacks up, next month.
