Today on February 25th, Pew Pew Games released a reveal trailer for their first game called Terminull Brigade. The game will be released through Steam and it is yet to be said about consoles, though according to the Steam page, players will be able to use an Xbox controllers to play the game. Players who are interested can wishlist the game now and also sign up for the closed beta, which will take place tomorrow, February 26th.
Terminull Brigade is a third-person, action rouguelike hero shooter game that is set in the distant future, and the game features both single player and co-op play. Players will dive in and explore The Nullverse and master their chosen Rogueteers to defeat the shadow algorithms to free enslaved digital worlds.
Within the Nullverse, there will be different worlds and their stories to explore with different enemies and biomes. According to the Steam page as well, the Nullverse is always changing, so challenges will be randomized as well as the rewards. By exploring these worlds, players will be able to discover secrets from the Nullverse.
There are different heroes, otherwise known as Rougueteers, that players can choose from. From the Steam page, there are six heroes to choose from, each having their own unique skillset and specialized roles. By facing and eliminating enemies throughout the player’s journey, they can master their Rougueteers by unlocking a talent tree, their backstory, and customizable mods that makes the Rougueteers stronger.
The Steam description says, “No single run is the same. Create endless possible builds with each run. The end is only the beginning. With every victory or defeat, you not only gain new insights, but also become progressively stronger.” Lastly, players will be able to collect loot by the end of each dive to create new weapons and mods that will help them along the way.
