Aisno Games’ Path to Nowhere will be launching their latest story update. The upcoming limited story event called Conflagrant Poleis will be chapters eleven and twelve released on June twentieth.
Path to Nowhere is a tactical tower defense roleplaying mobile game where players play as a police chief who has an otherworldly ability to Shackle criminals, referred to as sinners in the game, and make them do their bidding. The player uses these inmates in battles to defend the police bureau while developing relationships with them. Moreover, Path to Nowhere has a base building mode that allows the player to construct facilities within that can boost defense and attack for both the player and the inmates.
Conflagrant Poleis has rewards like Warrants and Hypercubes available to players as they progressively advance in the story levels and complete chapter missions. The event coincides with the addition of two new sinners that players can obtain: the S-Rank Sinner Raven, and the A-Rank Sinner Corso. During these events, players will have an increased probability of acquiring these characters from random pulls. Once Conflagrant Poleis has run its course, Raven will be added to Path to Nowhere‘s standard roster. Conflagrant Poleis lasts from June twentieth to July fourth.
Raven is known as the “Arcane Tendency powerhouse” and she definitely lives up to that name as she packs quite a punch with her crow companions. Her passive attack, Rhyme, is a long range action that can sweep a group of enemies in one flew swoop. When enemies are hit with it, they are marked by her Feather Mark that stays on them throughout the rest of the match. If Raven activates her ultimate attack, Stanza, the enemies with the Feather Mark take increased damage and the mark is removed once Stanza is over. In addition, the Feather Marks make the enemies more vulnerable to magic and core damage which makes Raven a perfect pair to characters that use magic for attacks. Raven’s special Crimeband attack gives her the ability to immediately apply Feather Marks to all enemies on the grid up to three times per battle.
The other new sinner, Corso, is part of the Fury Tendency line of characters and she wears her fiery nature like a badge. Corso can stack on damage with her Secret Weapons whenever she uses her ultimate. She carries an assortment of items that have random effects and varying amounts of damage to enemies: some have critical effects, deal a lot of damage across a group, increase damage on electrocution marks, and much more. Furthermore, she gets an attack boost every time she switches out her Secret Weapon items; this makes her a great unit to have for any long, drawn-out encounters. Corso’s Crimeband grants her a new ultimate attack that allows her to scan the battlefield for more Secret Weapons up to three times per battle. This gives her the ability to never run out of resources when in the middle of a fight.
As part of the Conflagrant Poleis, sinners Mr. Fox and Corso will be getting new interrogation entries that give players the ability to learn more about the backstories and ambitions of the character, meanwhile, earning Hypercubes by doing so.
