After a lengthy silence, where Bloodlines 2 development was reportedly delayed indefinitely, Paradox Interactive teased an update for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodline 2 Wednesday morning. The Bloodlines team re-emerged on Twitter with blog post, announcing a major update on the game’s development for September 2023. The Bloodlines team began the post by acknowledging the large gap in-between updates and promised to continue updating the game’s various editions and adding more bonus content as development continues.
“It’s been quite a while between updates while we’ve had our heads down working on the game,” said The Bloodlines Team. “We remain just as dedicated to delivering a great Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines game as we were when we announced, and are looking forward to showing you more in September this year…”
Following that the Bloodlines team announced that they would offer refunds to players who pre-ordered any edition of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Additionally, the Bloodlines team stated that pre-orders of physical Bloodlines 2 products would be refunded as well, including the Collector’s Edition. The digital versions of the First Blood Edition, Unsanctioned Edition and Blood Moon Edition will also be available for refunds.
For Bloodlines 2 fans, its relieving see Paradox Interactive continuing their development on the game, after months of silence. Considering the new Post-Alpha in-game screenshots the Bloodlines team shared at the end of its blog post, their work has paid off.
