Paradox Interactive Reveals New Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Gameplay Trailer

A new gameplay trailer for the nex Vampire The Masquerade game has been revealed by publisher Paradox Interactive and it’s current developer The Chinese Room, this Wednesday. Hosted by both The Chinese Room’s creative director Alex Skidmore and community manager Joshua Matthews, the trailer’s developer commentary gave players a deeper look into the world of Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2  and it’s gameplay mechanics.

“The gameplay and action of Bloodlines 2 is a sort of dance. As players explore the world, soak in the atmosphere, and make strategic choices, they affect their relationships with the characters around them,” said Skidmore. “Players can choose their legend, but the world is dynamic, and characters will remember how you treat them. Think carefully, and trust no one.”

The gameplay trailer gives players a glimpse of Phyre, it’s main character and various locations in its setting. Alongside dynamic dialogue trees, combat encounters allow players to maneuver Phyre across the map in various ways thanks to their vampiric abilities. While Phyre stay in the shadows and take out enemies with their telekinesis, in open combat Phyre can dash, claw, punch, and tear their enemies apart while refiling energy with her combat feeding mechanic.

The event ended with the promise of more information being revealed at a later date. Despite no release date being revealed, Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set to release some time this fall for Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

If that turns out to be true, fans can expect another trailer in the coming months. Until then, fans can check out the games official social media for updates.
