Owlcat Releases Teaser Trailer for New Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous DLC, The Lord of Nothing

RPG fans have been drowning in good options lately between Baldur’s Gate 3, the recently released Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion, and even Owlcat’s own Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader set to release in December this year. But Owlcat isn’t satisfied with just one huge release for this year, as earlier today they dropped teaser trailer for the fifth DLC to their critically acclaimed CRPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous titled The Lord of Nothing.

Fans of CRPGs have noted their love for Owlcat’s Pathfinder series so a DLC doesn’t come as much of a surprise. The teaser holds its cards close in regards to plot details, only that you’ll be traversing a blasted winter wasteland and have the option to either save or damn its inhabitants at your whim. Luckily, the description to the video sheds a bit more light on what to expect.

“In The Lord of Nothing DLC you will have to survive frozen lands, uncover the secrets of a mysterious wizard’s tower, help some Kellids in blooming caves, and even delve into the Shadow Plane! But you won’t be alone: an angel of Sarenrae with a tragic past and a captivating new android companion will join you as you confront the evil flourishing in the remote corners of Golarion. And don’t think your commander is being left out — a new quest and dungeon will be available to complete in the fifth chapter of the base game.”

It’s also mentioned that this will be a sequel and conclusion to Wrath of the Righteous’ previous DLC Through the Ashes starring new characters Sendri and Rekarth, suggesting that this adventure will have a slightly lower power level than the main game, no mythic paths available but luckily you’ll have 15 new archetypes, spells, and feats to help power game your way through the campaign in true Pathfinder fashion!

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and on PC through Steam, EGS, and GOG. The Lord of Nothing DLC will be available November 21st.
