Owlcat are on a bit of a roll with Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, just today they dropped the 2.5 Patch for Wrath, which included massive overhaul for the Gold Dragon path and continued the trend they were on for expanding on the less loved late game paths in the game. Now today, to follow the news of this patch up it looks like they’ve dropped a bombshell in the form of a Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Game of the Year Edition.

The Game of the Year Edition includes Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous with all six premium expansions and four free DLCs available after the game’s original release. Enjoy the complete experience throughout over 150 hours of gameplay! Lead the Fifth Crusade to free the lands of demon hordes. Diversify your playthrough by choosing from 10 mythic paths, 25 classes, and 160 archetypes. Build friendships and romantic relationships with 12 companions, but remember that your decisions affect how they feel about you.
This has been a long time coming, though this does mean that Owlcat’s tenure on Wrath of the Righteous might be coming to an end. We’ll likely get a few more patches, and maybe even an expansion to the Legend and Swarm That Walks late game paths but for the most part, it looks like this wonderful 3 year journey is finally nearing its ending.
With Wrath getting its Game of the Year Edition Owlcat will likely focus on Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, their latest massive CRPG before moving on to whatever big project they have next. As we’ve covered before, Owlcat seems to be moving into publisher role as well, so their influence of the western RPG scene is only expanding.
