A new fantasy action RPG known as Silver Palace has been announced. Gematsu reports that Publisher Elementa and developer Silver Studio have prepared the title for Unreal Engine 5 for release on consoles, PC, iOS, and Android. While pre-registration is available for the title a release date has not been set.

Silver Palace is set in a prosperous metropolis with a Victorian aesthetic. Players will assume the role of a male or female Detective returning to the city of Silvernia to investigate crimes and secrets related to the city. Players set out on determining the truth behind the death of a loved one.

Players will roam the metropolis of Silvernia while engaging in real-time combat. Combat features character switching between your Detective and partners during fights. QTE’s have been implemented into the combo system enabling you to unleash skills and chain attacks. You’ll analyze crime scenes, hunt for clues, use stealth and scrutinize NPCs to make discoveries. Silvernia features different means of transportation, including grappling hooks, mounts, and mechanical horses. Partner systems are included, providing teammates with unique abilities.

From Elementa’s press release “Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Silver Palace features anime-style characters and a fluid, immersive combat system. Players can switch between characters in real time to unleash powerful skills and chain QTE combos. As they explore the city’s sprawling environments, they’ll dive into the scenes of crime, hunt for clues in the shadows, battle their enemies and in the process reveal more of the stories of Silvernia.”

Silver Palace is brand new on the market and though we don’t have a lot to glean in the way of development, we can at least see that the team aims to make a compelling fantasy action adventure. Provided the unique blend of Victorian themes with the ever-popular anime aesthetic Elementa may be on track to release something fresh for fans of the genre.
