Nodding Heads Games Releases Updates On Raji: An Ancient Epic on Steam

The team at Nodding Heads Games tweeted an update, earlier this month, regarding the progress of their project Raji: An Ancient Epic.

In the update, posted to Steam, the studio reveals that the upcoming game will be published by super.com, a team of developers, producers, and marketing specialists who strive to help indie developers create, publish, and sell their imaginative ideas for video games. The team at Nodding Heads Games also released a new gameplay trailer, which can be viewed below. The video showcases a beautiful hand-painted realm, fluid combat movements, and a massive space for players to explore.

Finally, the studio also announced that they have plans to release an improved version of the demo for Raji: An Ancient Epic. More news about the demo release has not yet been revealed, but fans can expect more updates in the coming months as the team is on track to release the update later on this year.

We have come a long way since we first released our demo and since then we have been hard at work improving pretty much every aspect of the game, focus heavily on the story and gameplay. Though it is early days, we aim to have this new and improved demo ready for you to play later this year.

For those new to the game, Raji: An Ancient Epic is an upcoming adventure inspired by Hindu and Bali mythology. The story follows the journey of Raji, a young girl who was chosen by the gods to defend the human realm against an oncoming invasion of demons. As she searches for her younger brother, players will follow Raji as she witnesses the physical and emotional effects war has on the realms. The game will include a variety of demonic enemies, who vary in qualities such as rank, equipment, and abilities. Players will also be given the choice to wield various types of weapons, including some God-given powers bestowed to our heroine.

Raji: An Ancient Epic does not have an official release date as of now. However, according to the game’s Steam Page, the game is expected to launch during the first quarter of 2020.
