No Man’s Sky Beyond Update Arrives in Two Weeks

Most remember how ambitious No Man’s Sky sounded when it was announced consequently leaving many highly disappointed when it was released in August 2016. Players felt promises weren’t kept and the game simply felt unfinished leading to such an outcry, players were allowed full reimbursements. Nevertheless, Sean Murray refused to give up in delivering a game that he truly envisioned and adding content loyal fans asked for. Many free updates have been implemented that have really improved No Man’s Sky and their next big update “Beyond” is just around the corner.

Past updates like “Visions” have really focused on the details of No Man’s Sky, adding new flora, creatures and diversity of biomes. Many people complained about the lack of diversity in planets they were visiting and this improved that area. No Man’s Sky Next then introduced a way players could play with friends allowing co-op base building and exploration. No Man’s Sky Beyond will take even bigger steps and consist of 3 major updates that are all rolled into one package. The first update we know is an online feature which adds to the previously mentioned co-op feature. This is looking to make playing with other people much easier but is not necessarily looking to turn the game into an MMO. The second known feature is implementing VR to the game. Many have requested VR support and Beyond will deliver the functionality. Now players will begin to feel like a true space explorer and will surely appreciate the immense scale the environment No Man’s Sky has to offer. Unfortunately, the last update in Beyond is still a mystery and not even the release date announcement trailer provides many hints.

Fortunately, the No Man’s Sky Beyond update is only a couple weeks away and players who own the game will receive all this new content for free. on August 14th. Stay connected to MXDWN Games for more info on what the mysterious 3rd update might be as we keep our eyes open for more info.

Nathan Arquiette: Mom and Dad would never buy me a gaming console growing up, so I bought my own Dreamcast when I was 10 years old. Ever since then my passion for gaming went wild. Why watch a movie or read a book when you can take part in the plot playing a game was my philosophy. "Video games rot your brain" but I had a 10th grade reading level in the 6th grade all thanks to RPG's. Talking and writing about games is something I will never get tired of.
