This is one of those April Fools jokes that walks the line between legitimately good idea and cheeky joke.
According to Destructoid, Nintendo is also getting in on the April Fools fun. In a tweet from the official Japanese Splatoon twitter account, Nintendo announced that it would be releasing Splatoon mobile arcade stalls.
Obviously the tweet said that the price and release date for the stall would be forthcoming, but I imagine if this thing was real it might actually sell.
