More festive sales are coming your way this holiday season as Nintendo announced their Indie World Holiday Sale started today. During this year’s Indie World Holiday sale, you can save up to 75% off on select digital indie games and DLC for the Nintendo Switch until Dec. 31, 2021, at 11:59 pm PST.
The Indie World Holiday Sale is a good chance to grab some cool indie games at a lower price than usual and show support for indie developers and publishers. There are currently 30 indie titles featured in this year’s sale, with some notable and well-known games including Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!, Boyfriend Dungeon, Hades, River City Girls, and Cris Tales. For a quick look into the deals being offered, here are the prices for the games listed above:
- Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! – $12.74 (originally $14.99)
- Boyfriend Dungeon – $16.99 (originally $19.99)
- Hades – $16.24 (originally $24.99)
- River City Girls – $20.99 (originally $29.99)
- Cris Tales – $19.99 (originally $39.99)
Additionally, indie game developers and publishers Serenity Forge, Quantum Astrophysics Guild, Annapurna Interactive, Humble Games, and Finji are all having sales for their respective games at the same time as this year’s Indie World Holiday Sale. You can view all the available games and deals in each indie developers and publishers’ designated sections on the Nintendo website.
During this time, Nintendo also has a gold points special offer where you can get double My Nintendo Gold Points when you purchase selected games until Jan. 5, 2022, at 11:59 pm PST. If you happen to take advantage of this sale, you could also earn back some Gold Points that could be used toward an eligible digital game or DLC. Along with the Indie World Holiday Sale, there are also some ongoing deals currently happening, such as selected Ubisoft and Capcom games being on sale.
