Nintendo’s Black Friday Offerings Include eShop Discounts, New Zelda Bundles

With Black Friday around the corner and consumers ready to partake in one of the biggest shopping days of the holiday season, Nintendo is offering a long-running digital sale and new Legend of Zelda themed bundles for 2DS and Switch.

The sale is available through Nintendo’s eShop, the destination for digital copies of Nintendo 3DS, Switch and Wii U titles. Rather than a few days-long sale, the Nintendo’s Cyber Deals will run until the morning of Dec. 11. Gamers looking for discounts on major Nintendo releases are out of luck, as the deals heavily rely on third party titles or older games.

My Nintendo members will also earn the program’s Gold Points for their purchases which can be redeemed for further discounts, smart device wallpapers and content for Super Mario RunFire Emblem Heroes, and the recently released Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. Anthony Martinez: Video games have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My first was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64. I imagined that I would someday be creating games, but I've decided video game journalism is my calling. I graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Journalism and a minor in Anthropology.
