Nintendo Switch Possibly Getting a SNES-Style Controller Thanks to 8Bitdo

All the Nintendo Switch fans out there should be happy to know they might be playing not with a Switch Pro controller, but instead a SNES- Style Controller. 8Bitdo is currently working on a replica SNES controller to work specifically with the Nintendo Switch. The controller, dubbed SNES30 Pro, will have features such as bluetooth, USB-C, Motion Controls, LED’s, and rumble vibration. Despite all of this, the company has kept the look of the traditional SNES controller.

The controller will be able to take the place of the Switch Pro controller, allowing longtime Nintendo fans the opportunity to relive the golden days of gaming. The unique thing about the controller is the fact that because it is bluetooth enabled, it will be able to be used with mobile devices as well as PC’s. The company has decided they will have a release date somewhere near the holiday season, presumably to get maximum profit as the Nintendo Switch continues to sell units worldwide.

8Bitdo didn’t stop with the SNES controller however. The company is also working on a controller for the Switch and PC that brings players back to the days with the NES30 Arcade Stick that can be seen in the below picture.

8Bitdo has also been working on a set of cube speakers that will pair well with the controllers to boost player experience. They will be wireless and also offer the ability to be plugged in through the use of an AUX input. The cube speakers and the NES arcade Stick will become available prior to the release of the SNES controller, presumably sometime in Fall.

Keep an eye out for these to come out this year so you can game like its its the 1900’s again!
