Nintendo Summer of Play 2017 Dates Announced

Nintendo recently announced via their various social media platforms that the Nintendo Summer of Play 2017 is coming up. Events will be taking place all across the United States where people will be able to play Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS games.


The Switch games that will be playable at these events include games that aren’t out yet, such as ARMS, which comes out on June 16, and Splatoon 2, out July 21. Other Switch games that will be at the events will be Mario Kart 8 Deluxe1-2-SwitchSnipperclips: Cut it Out, Together!The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the WildUltra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers (which comes out this Friday, May 26), Super Bomberman R and Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition.

There will also be a couple of yet-to-be-released 3DS games playable at these events, which will include Hey! Pikmin and Miitopia, both set to release on July 28. The other 3DS games that will be at these events are Pokémon Sun and Pokémon MoonSuper Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.

Dylan Siegler: Dylan Siegler has a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Redlands. He has copy edited novels and short stories and is the editor of nearly all marketing materials for RoKo Marketing. In addition to his professional work, Dylan is also working on several of his own projects. Some of these projects include a novel that satirizes the very nature of novel writing as an art and a short film that parodies buddy cop movies. His short story “Day 3658,” a look into a future ten years into a zombie apocalypse, is being published in September of 2017 in Microcosm Publishing’s compilation Bikes in Space IV: Biketopia.
