As a part of Nintendo’s weekly Creator’s Voice series, the company has decided to spotlight games that will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch 2. Following this past week’s Creators Voice interview with Hidetaka Miyazaki on release Duskblood is a video featuring Hades II. Gematsu shares that the video interviews developers at SuperGiant Games Amir Rao, Greg Kasavin and Darren Korb involving what bringing Hades II to the Nintendo Switch 2 has been like and confirming that the game will be a console launch exclusive both for the brand new console and the original Nintendo Switch.

Hades II is set in the underworld of Greek Myth. Players will assume the role of Melinoë, Princess of the Underworld and sister to the previous Hades’ hero Zagreus. She specializes in witchcraft and seeks to free her family and the Underworld from the Titan of Time, Chronos.

In the Creator’s Voice Interview Creative Director Greg Casavin speaks briefly on the humanization of their characters “ What makes them so fascinating isn’t necessarily that Zeus you know has lightning powers and Poseidon can summon title waves it’s that they have these very human characteristics despite being gods is very fascinating and i think you know it’s it’s no accident that it’s remained resonant”

In the interview, Greg Casavin likens the experience of playing Hades II as something that happens within with the team emphasizing the performance in this title. You’ll gain Boons from Olympian gods. Hades II features new locations, upgrade systems, familiars and an accessibility feature known as  ‘God mode.’

It appears SuperGiant Games has relegated extensive character arcs to this title, as with the god of Witchcraft Hecate. With the developer aiming to increase the ante on all its fronts, players may find a good title to the original Hades.
