Nintendo Releases Demo for Kirby and the Forgotten Land Available Now

Today, Nintendo released free demo for their upcoming game Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which will release on March 25th. Kirby and the Forgotten Land was first announced in a Nintendo Direct in September and was highly anticipated by Kirby fans since the game will release just in time for the franchise’s 30th anniversary.

The demo includes three stages for players to experience: Point of Arrival, Downtown Grassland, and The Brawl at the Mall, a boss stage. You can play the demo in single-player mode or co-op mode by sharing a Joy-Con controller with a friend, where they’ll play as Bandana Waddle Dee. During the demo, players can use Kirby’s Mouthful Mode and other unique abilities to power through enemies and complete stages.

Players can also choose how to play the game from two difficulty modes: Wild Mode and Spring-Breeze Mode. Wild Mode is for players who want a wilder and more challenging Kirby game, but they’ll be able to earn more Star Coins as rewards for taking on a tough adventure. Spring-Breeze Mode is for players who want a more simple and relaxing Kirby game, where you’ll have a lot of health. This mode is also more suited for those who are new to action games.

After completing the demo, players will receive a Present Code, which they can redeem for in-game items once they purchase the full version of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. These codes can be entered at Waddle Dee-liveries in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which will open as you progress through the game’s story. Players can also use evolved Copy Abilities throughout the three stages after completing the demo.

You can download the free demo for Kirby and the Forgotten Land on the Nintendo Switch’s eShop. Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be available on March 25th exclusively for the Nintendo Switch for $59.99.
