While registration for Nintendo Live 2023 has ended, Nintendo has given fans a chance to fight their way to snag a few more tickets in the lead-up to the event. The NintendoVS Challenge Cup July 2023 tournament begins next week July 16th, 2023. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players in the US, Mexico, or Canada can challenge each other from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. PT to win tickets for the Nintendo Live 2023 event in Seattle, Washington in September 2023.
In order to fight in the Challenge Cup, players must participate in the online Official Tourney Qualifiers currently in-game during the tournament period. To register players will need to select in-game: Online, Smash, Official Tourney Qualifiers. The top 20 players will be notified on or around July 17, 2023, based on their accumulated Tourney Score. Following that, the Tourney winners will be notified on or around July 26, 2023, via email.
Nintendo Live 2023 is one of the biggest upcoming Nintendo events this year; a four-day experience packed with various game tournaments, live events, photo-ops, and merch. Nintendo fans can enjoy the all-ages event at the Seattle Covenant Fine Arts Center alongside PAX West 2023.
