Just two days after the addition of Banjo-Kazooie, Nintendo announced that Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask will be coming to Nintendo Switch Online sometime in February. This 2000 classic game will join Altered Beast and multiple other games that will be added to the Nintendo Switch Online.

Since the game was originally released on the N64, it will require an expansion pack to be played on the switch. Currently, Nintendo Switch Online costs a flat fee of $20 for an entire year. This expansion pack will increase the price of Nintendo Switch Online to $50 a year with a family plan option for $80 a year.
The classic game is the sixth in the Zelda series and was released in the year 2000. This adventure follows Link as he travels to a parallel world called Termina. In this world, Link is tasked with preventing the moon from falling into the world within three days. To achieve this goal, Link utilizes multiple items that can help him to save the world.
First, Link maintains possession of the Ocarina from the previous adventure in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. As a result, Link is able to restart the three-day cycle, open different passages, and solve puzzles. Additionally, Link is able to utilize the use of many different masks throughout the game. These masks allow Link to transform into creatures that have many different and useful skills. Link must use these items to help save Termina from the eventual crash of the moon within the three-day time period.
The addition of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask will likely become a draw for many fans of the classic Nintendo 64 games. Although Nintendo has announced the addition of multiple classic games to the expansion pack, many fans are expecting more announcements to be made throughout the coming months as well.
