Nintendo Announces Japan Exclusive Disney Themed Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has announced a brand new Disney themed Nintendo Switch. However, this Switch model is set to exclusively release in Japan alongside the game Tsum-Tsum Festival which is set to release this Fall. The bundle will include pink and purlple Tsum-Tsum themed Joy-cons and dock.

The themed Nintendo Switch itself which features Tsum-Tsum versions Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Stitch, and Winnie the Pooh on the back. The Nintendo Switch included in the bundle will be the new version of the console that has a better battery life. The bundle will also include the Tsum-Tsum Festival game along with DLC for the game.

Tsum-Tsum Festival itself is a collection of minigames featuring these adorable versions of Disney characters. Players will also be able to hold the Nintendo Switch vertically to play the regular mobile puzzle version of Tsum-Tsum. The developers at Bandai Namco gave a short description of the game as well.

It’s a big party with Disney’s fluffiest little plushes! These cute and fluffy toys are coming to the Nintendo Switch and ready to delight Disney fans of all ages. Play a variety of activities with your Tsum Tsum and start racking up points to build up your collection of little friends.

The developers listed a few key features of the game as well. The game will have both online and local multiplayer that allows for players to play against their friends or against other players and will support up to four players. The minigames included are Bubble Hockey, Coin Dozer, and Curling. The game will also feature leaderboards to compare your stats against friends and players from around the world.

The Disney Tsum-Tsum Festival Nintendo Switch Bundle is slated to release on October 10 in Japan and will cost 36,080 yen or ~$330 USD. There is currently no word on if this bundle will release in other territories as of yet. You can check out the Tsum-Tsum Festival trailer below:
