New Xbox Game Pass Leaks Suggest Family Plan With Sharing Features

A brand new leak regarding the Xbox Game Pass seemingly gives much more freedom to Xbox users. Earlier today, known leaker Aggiornamenti Lumia drew the eyes of Xbox fans on Twitter when he posted alleged information regarding a new Xbox game pass. This new game pass has been allegedly named Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family.

Microsoft’s Game Passes have been praised among fans so for the company to come up with a family plan isn’t exactly shocking. The Xbox Game Pass ranges from a basic option of $9.99 per month to an upgraded version called Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at $14.99 a month. This upgraded version unlocks more features for the user to enjoy and would be included in the leaked family plan. According to The Verge, Microsoft has already begun testing out its family plan in select countries however, the leaks also suggest that the features within the family plan aren’t restricted to family members.

This new plan is alleged to allow four friends or family members to share Xbox Game Pass Ultimate benefits. This new Family & Friend plan shares many similarities to streaming service accounts, where people can share access to one account to reap the benefits instead of stacking subscriptions on top of each other. Should the leaks be true this will likely be a game changer for many Xbox fans, allowing for more people to experience these benefits.

Currently, nothing has been confirmed by Microsoft, but the alleged information certainly has fans excited. Hopefully, Microsoft will come out with official information on this new family plan in the future.
