New Wolfenstein: Youngblood Trailer Shares Story Details, Release Date, & Pre-Order Bonuses

Wolfenstein: Youngblood was announced at E3 2018, and is the next chapter in the Wolfenstein series that has been developed by MachineGames. The latest trailer has been released and it focuses on the story of the game. In Wolfenstein: Youngblood, you’ll play as Jess and Soph, the twin daughters of BJ Blazkowicz, as they are dropped into “80’s Nazi-occupied Paris,” and have to track BJ down as he has gone missing.

For the first time in the series, you can explore the world of Wolfenstein and take down Nazis with a partner. If you don’t want to play with someone else, then you will be paired with an AI companion.

The game also features some newly added RPG elements that have not been present in the series. You can explore Paris and take on Nazis to level up which will unlock new abilities, weapon attachments, gadgets, cosmetics and more.

If you pre-order the game, you will receive the Legacy Pack which is a set of cosmetic items. The items included in the set are The Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Jacket Power Suit, BJ’s US Army Power Suit, The Wolfenstein: Old Blood Pipe, Knife, and a WW2 Weapon Skin Set for all ranged weapons. The standard edition costs $29.99 and the Deluxe Edition is $39.99.

The Deluxe Edition of Wolfenstein: Youngblood comes with the Buddy Pass which allows you to partner up with a friend even if the friend doesn’t own the game. As long as the friend is playing with you, they can download and play the game for free. The Buddy Pass can only be given to one friend at a time, but it can be used as many times as you want. Those who are playing with the Buddy Pass can choose to upgrade to the full game and play by themselves or someone else at any time.

The Deluxe Edition also comes with the Cyborg Skin Pack which is designed to present a “titanium Terminator look.” It also includes a new skin for the twins’ Power Suits, guns, combat knives, and hatchets.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood releases July 26, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
