The night of surprises continues, as RGG Studios announces that it is developing a Virtua Fighter reboot. The game was revealed in a CGI trailer and a brief glimpse of gameplay. Along with the reveal that more will be shown at a Virtua Fighter Direct being held later tonight at 12:00amEST. This is the start of the wave of SEGA reboots that was teased at last year’s Game Awards, though the news of RGG involvement will be the main takeaway until more is revealed later tonight. As a Yakuza fan, I have faith that they can translate their Beat-em-Up gameplay to a 1 on 1 fighter.
