Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become this year’s game to play and now they have recently added some very extraordinary updates to the game for fans to explore more with there upcoming seasonal events and some new characters. It has been confirmed that the Animal Crossing: New Horizons update will be arriving on Thursday, April 23rd.
In the new update, players will be reintroduced to one of the game’s most familiar characters, Leif and Redd. Fans will remember Leif, the sloth from the game Animal Crossing: Leaf game, who runs the garden stall and Redd, the fox the art dealer. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans will get a chance to venture to Leif’s Garden Shop where he will sell shrubs and flower seeds. Redd who also goes by the name Jolly Redd will head to your island and set up shop on his boat where he will sell his artwork and sculptures, as well as very unique colored furniture for player’s homes. Just like in previous Animal Crossing games, players will have to guess if the artwork is real or not. Once purchasing the genuine artwork players will get a chance to place the art in the art gallery in the island’s museum.
Another thing players will be getting in the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons update is new seasonal events coming up. Nintendo made a lineup of details about the upcoming events:
- Nature Day (April 23rd-May 4th): During this event, a special Nook Miles challenges will focus on nature-inspired goals, which will entail planting trees and watering flowers.
- May Day Tour (May 1st-7th): That first week of May players will be given a one-time May Day Ticket to head out to a limited-time tour on an island with a very special guest players have seen before.
- International Museum Day (May 18th-31st): Players will tour around the museum and be able to collect unique stamps and will receive different rewards
- Wedding Season (June 1st-30th): Players can visit Harvey’s island where they will help Reese and Cyrus take wedding anniversary photos where players can receive wedding-themed items from the gratitude couple.
With these new updates and events being added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it gives players a chance to explore this new free content and gives them something to look forward to in the upcoming future of the game.
