A whimsical adventure is about to begin. Bytten Studio is developing a turn-based role-playing game that has the themes of music and monsters into one. In the style of pixel art and this turn-based combat system, Cassette Beasts brings a new story. Fans get a new look into the game as the new trailer for the game was released.
New Wirral is an island that is filled with strange creatures who live on it. In this Pokémon like game, players will venture through the island in search of a way home. The cassette player is what will keep you safe in your travels. When coming across these creatures, they must be defeated with the same powers they possess. With the cassette player, you will be able to take on the forms of monsters. New monsters can be gained by using the cassette player to record and save its powers for your own. Take these forms to the next level and fuse together monsters in order to defeat challenging foes. Players will be able to use monster abilities outside of battle. For example, the ability to fly will be available for people to use for travel. Players will meet a v
ariety of characters who will help them along the way. Taking on foes alone can be quite challenging. Cassette Beasts will have couch co-op play so players can take on foes together in teams. A free playable demo is currently available on Steam. Cassette Beasts is scheduled to be released on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on April 26, 2023.
