New Trailer Released for The Last Guardian

A brand new trailer for the PS4 exclusive The Last Guardian has been released. The trailer is full of action-packed scenes as well as what could be a new enemy beast.

The 30-second trailer starts with the protagonist falling from a castle, similar to the way Nathan Drake and Lara Croft with fall while climbing in Uncharted and Tomb Raider respectively.

On the ground, a group of hooded individuals with glowing blue eyes carrying a large creature on a stretcher like object.

The protagonist says “Where… where am I” in a foreign language before scenes of a man pounding on a drum like a battle cry and the protagonist riding a giant creature that looks like a combination of a dog and a bird on a narrow, wooden bridge that’s falling behind them. The protagonist is then riding the dog-and-bird hybrid under water followed by a scene of the protagonist walking across a tight rope like you would see an acrobat do with the beast flying right beside him.

You then see a beast smash a bridge that the protagonist is walking on.

The protagonist is then seen jumping across platforms like Drake and Croft. Then the protagonist is falling with beast partner into a pit with a new beast inside. The beast looks like it’s a gigantic puppy dog. There are two of them and the trailer ends with them pinning the protagonist into a corner.

The Last Guardian is supposedly going to receive a PS4 Pro patch to upscale the resolution to 4K. The patch will also implement of number of “minor” performance enhancements.

The Last Guardian went gold in September after ten years of development and several delays. It’s set for release on November 6 in North America, December 7 in the EU and Australia and December 9 in the UK as a PS4 exclusive.

I'm a big Pokémon fan, so I'l spend a lot of my time playing that. Other than that, I love sports, particularly the Charlotte Hornets and the Carolina Panthers. No matter how bad the team is, I will always rep them.
