New Trailer Released for Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Showing Off Stealth Gameplay

Following the announcement that the game was delayed until April, CI Games chose to relieve some of the sadness and release trailer that shows off almost all aspects of what the gameplay for Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will be like. We see the new sniping system, close quarter combat, and a little bit of takedown action.

The video below takes players through one of the many side missions available in the game. This one in particular is set to challenge mode and task the player with deactivating four missiles in an enemy base. Challenge mode, for those who aren’t familiar with the game, is the hardest difficulty setting available. This mode forces snipers to get headshots due to enemy armor, well that, or whip out some armor piercing rounds. Take a look at the gameplay below.

One thing that stood out was the introduction of scope mechanics that make the game more true to life. In prior installments, players did not have control of adjusting the bullet drop on the scope, now however, once you know the range of your target, you can adjust the scope and change your zero.

Long-time fans of the Sniper Ghost Warrior games have asked for a mode that will challenge even the best players, and Challenge Mode offers plenty of challenge. With a missing heads-up display (HUD), increased enemy perception, and enemy markers that disappear after using the surveillance drone, successfully completing missions in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will require a well-equipped arsenal of weaponry and plenty of gadgets and attachments to make it through undetected.

The video also highlights the fact that the maps will be of significant size as after taking out a few enemies with a sniper, the player hops in his car and heads closer to the enemy compound. This also goes hand in hand with the change to make the game an open world.

As mentioned above, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has been delayed and will now be released on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on April 25th.
