With Sony’s newest console exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn coming closer and closer to its scheduled release date, the company decided to release a new cinematic trailer earlier this morning. What sets this trailer apart from the others is that it shows us new allies and enemies, finally bringing to light what the story is really about.
The trailer, while somewhat short, creates more questions as to what’s going on in this world we’re all about to be thrown in. Masked warriors make an appearance, but its unclear as to what they have to do with the story other than causing issues for the protagonist. What we do know from the trailer is that there is a man bringing back ancient machines that take have the ability to control of the docile ones. The clans begin to get attacked by unknown enemies and and our protagonist leaves home to travel and find the killers. Unless Sony decides to tell us exactly what we want to know, it looks like we’ll all just have to wait until the game actually comes out before we know all its secrets.

In other Horizon: Zero Dawn news, the game, at least for the UK, seems to be delayed a bit. On the Playstation Store UK entry now says the game will be released on March 3rd. While the original air date was supposed to be in 2016, however, to get the game up to Sony’s standards, the date was pushed back into 2017.
