With Gamescom 2017 just around the corner fans are in high anticipation of all the news and reveals that are set to come within the next few days. However, as always there is a chance that some news maybe be subject to leaks before their official announcement during big game events such as this one. EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront II was the first to get leaked a week early which led the publisher to release the trailer all together. Adding on to this apparently there has been another leak that has surfaced before the opening of Gamescom.
According to the leak THQ Nordic has been hard at work on a new RPG that will take place in an open post apocalyptic setting. The new title will be called BioMutant and features a furry protagonist as well as his grasshopper companion. The leak was made from an advertisement of the game in the German trade magazine GamesMarkt. Here is a picture of the magazine below via a twitter post.

In August of last year Nordic Games announced that they were rebranding themselves as THQ Nordic. They also stated that they currently had 23 titles in developement at the time with 13 being unannounced. BioMutant might very well be one of these new games. Also according to federal records Experiment 101 holds the official rights for Biomutant. The ad in the magazine states that BioMutant will be releasing on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime next year. Gamescom 2017 will run from August 23-26 so we won’t have to wait too much longer for a full on reveal.
