New Hearthstone Update: Throne of Tides Mini-Set and More

On June 1, Blizzard Entertainment released a new update for their beloved card game: Hearthstone. The new update, Throne of Tides, contains a new min-set of 35 collectible cards that can be obtained either by purchasing Voyage to the Sunken City packs in the Hearthstone shop, crafted with arcane dust, or obtained through the highest rank bonus chest. Within the new cards, Neptulon the Tidehunter, Ozumat, and Lady Nazjar stand out as powerful cards players will desire to acquire in order to strengthen their decks. The new mini-set revolves around Neptulon the Tidehunter and Ozumat battling for supremacy under the sea.

Alongside the new mini-set, Hearthstone has updated its battleground as well. To celebrate the launch of Diablo Immortal, another Blizzard Entertainment title, Diablo will return to Hearthstone. During the Throne of Tides period, Diablo will be equally accessible for all players. Lastly, there is a new hero, Ozumat, and a new Minion, Bubblettem available as well.

Additionally, there is a new limited-time event available from June 7 – June 21: Y’Shaarj. Completing all 10 of the event’s tasks will allow the player to earn the Y’Shaarj mercenary, a random Golden Y’Shaarj Portrait, the Diamon Y’Shaarj Portrait, and 750 total Mercenaries Coins. On top of Y’Shaari, there are other new mercenaries like Queen Azshara, and new zones and bounties. Furthermore, new treasure map nodes on bounty maps offer two options: Cursed Treasure, which hinders characters throughout the rest of the turn, or Bonus Rewards, which will be added to one’s haul upon completion of the bounty. To complete this event, Humans and Pirates will be the best allies against Y’Shaarj.

Lastly, Hearthstone’s recent update also allows players to play 17 new missions under the Book Of Heroes: Faelin. In this adventure, players can choose to complete the story with three different characters, allowing the player to complete the story multiple times for different rewards. For completing Book Of Heroes: Faelin for the first time, players will earn the Ghost Ship card back. Completing all of the missions with a different character will earn the player a Standard pack. Finally, completing all 17 missions with the third character will earn one a Voyage to the Sunken City pack.
