New Gotham Knights Gameplay Trailer Spotlights Red Hood

Bullets fly in the new gameplay trailer for Gotham Knights revealed by Warner Bros. Games and DC on August 10, 2022, showcasing gameplay of the hard-edged vigilante Red Hood. Developed by Warner Bros. Games Montréal, Gotham Knights is an upcoming open-world action RPG where players take the role of members of the Batfamily in the wake of Batman’s death. Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin must rise to the occasion as Gotham City’s protectors, solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations, players will confront an array of challenges as they evolve into their own version of the Dark Knight.

The new gameplay trailer features all-new gameplay and custom cut-scenes of the infamous Red Hood, formerly known as the second robin Jason Todd. The Red Hood is a highly trained marksman and hard-hitting, intense and with a short fuse, a far cry from his Robin days. He’s a hand-to-hand fighter who’s reached the peak of human strength, making him an expert in both ranged and melee combat.

Following his violent death at the hands of the Joker and resurrection in the Lazarus Pit, Red Hood gained the ability to harness mystical powers that aid him in battle and allow him to propel his body through the air to traverse the city. Despite his complicated past, Red Hood has reconciled with the Batman Family and is committed to using non-lethal combat methods to protect Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s death. Players are sure to enjoy Red Hood’s hard-hitting combat and flashy sense of style.

Grapple across the skyscrapers of Gotham when Gotham Knights releases worldwide on October 25, 2022, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players who pre-order will receive the 233 Custom Batcycle Skin at launch, based on the vehicle’s first appearance in DC’s Detective Comics #233.
