Playstation Experience is a convention for Sony users to meet developers about the games about to be released for the PS4. One stable for the Playstation family of systems is God of War, with three games available for PS2 and PS3, as well as side games for the PSP and Vita. Upset are God of War fans who wanted a sneak peak at the new God of War game earlier confirmed by Sony. God of War’s developer Cory Barlog tweeted out that he “won’t be showing anything of the game at PSX.”
Even though the God of War won’t be shown at PSX, he also tweeted that “we will be showing something really awesome when it is ready.”

The new God of War game was confirmed earlier at E3 2016 in July. After the event, Barlog said that the inspiration for the new God of War game was inspired by a canceled Star Wars tv show and said there will be a “more diverse emotional palette.”
Barlog spoke to GameSpot about having players take protagonist Kratos seriously, as well as reinventing him and how he can be implemented into Norse mythology, when the God of War had been based upon Greek mythology.
The new God of War game will be set after the events of God of War 3, but won’t be an open world. Kratos’s original voice actor, T.C. Carson won’t play him. Christopher Judge will take his place. The new God of War game will not feature any multiplayer.
PSX 2016 will take place December 3 and 4 in Anaheim, California. Tickets go for anywhere between $40 and $75, depending on which day you go or the package you purchase.
