During last night’s premier of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead we got our first look at Gears of War 4 in the new trailer called Tomorrow.
The trailer itself was teased Saturday by the Gears of War twitter account with two teaser trailers.

Set to a cover of Simon and Garfunkle’s The Sound of Silence by Disturbed, the trailer cuts between former protagonist Marcus Feinx’s civilian life as a farmer and his son JD’s life as a member of the new COG.
Since Marcus has turned in his chainsaw gun for a shovel, what does this mean for his role in Gears 4? Well, we really don’t know at this point, but looking at the trailer’s description and the presence of giant statues honoring him, we might be set out to find him like Marcus’s dad in Gears 3.
25 Years after Gears of War 3, spurred by a series of strange disappearances, JD Fenix must embrace his father’s legacy and battle a terrifying new enemy.
Either that or Microsoft is not so subtly telling us that JD is standing in his father’s shadow.
Gears of War 4 will be out on October 11th exclusively for Xbox One and Windows 10. The Gears 4 early access multiplayer beta is also coming next week, with an open beta coming the week after that on the 25th. The early access beta will be open to anyone who played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on either Xbox One or Windows 10. You can also read about the new cast here.
